About FutGuessr

FutGuessr is a daily guessing game for football fans, inspired by Wordle and Spotle. Every day there's a new mystery player. Each guess tells you how close you are on nationality, club, position, age, shirt number and fame. Everyone gets the same Daily player, so you can compare results with friends.

Where the data comes from

Squads, shirt numbers, positions and national teams come from the current-squad lists on each club's Wikipedia article. Dates of birth come from Wikidata. The Fame rank combines how often a player's Wikipedia article is read with how many language editions of Wikipedia cover him. The data is refreshed regularly, especially after each transfer window.

Spotted something wrong? Wikipedia is the source. A fix there will show up in FutGuessr after the next refresh.
